Pizza Street (Formally Pizza Pipeline) (Oct. 12th)

A friend of mine was coming over, so we decided to have a pizza delivered. I had received my 6th new phone book this day, and looked up Pizza Pipeline's number. I called, never noticing that the name had changed, and was surprised when Pizza Street showed up.

I'm only assuming that Pizza Street must have purchased Pizza Pipeline or that the name changed. The pizza from Pizza Street was quite different from Pizza Pipeline. We ordered breaksticks (the old Tricky Sticks from Pipeline) and a pie with pinneapple and pepperoni. The breaksticks were short and mishapen and were just okay. The pizza, although strange in its choice of topppings, wasn't too bad - but was not similar to Pipeline's old style.

Although I would recommend trying Pizza Street, do not expect a similiar Pizza Pipeline style pie.

I used to work for Pizza Pipeline and . . . well, I'm quite supprised that you actually wanted to order from them. The owners did sell the business which was not doing well anyways (I'd say bad product had something to do with it). Pizza Street, if anything like Pipeline, deserves one star less--though I have not yet eaten there, and, to be quite honest, do not intend to. There are plenty of other good or decent delivery services in Fort Collins. Pizzeria La Collina, Pullcinella's, Casbah, and Surfside's pizza are some of my personal favorites.

I'm always down to try something new and me and old friend used to order Pipeline years ago in the dorms as it used to be really good. It will be awhile before I order from there again as there is just too many other pizza places in Fort Collins to try. Thanks for the comment.
