Tortilla Marissa's (Dec. 11th)

**2 out of 5 stars**
An okay, average Mexican restaurant - Tortilla Marissa's really let me down. We went on a Monday night while getting some Christmas Cards made at Walgreens and left disappointed.
On Monday nights they do have a good special. Fajita's for two for 12.99. We had a combination of both steak and chicken. While waiting for our fajita's, we snacked on some chips and salsa. I wasn't a big fan of the chips, and the salsa came out with such a hot temperature that it burned our mouths. My date stopped eating it because it was so incredibly hot with temperature. I'm not sure why it was so hot, but it really turned us off.
When the fajita's came, they were okay. The tortilla's were soggy and very sticky with moisture. My date didn't really care for the taste of the chicken, although I thought it was okay. They served a plate of topping for the tortilla's which included guacamole, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pico de gallo. The onions with the fajita's were overcooked, and the bell peppers were undercooked. It was plenty of food for a good price, it just wasn't that great.
The service was very good, and the place is very quaint and clean. I would say go if you are looking for a cheap meal (our total was around $17 for two people).
